Driver Training

Bureau Veritas is a training agency for the National Safety Council's ( NSC ) Defensive Driving Courses (DDC) and offers an expert driving principles course. Both courses can be delivered at your facility by our certified trainers.

Completion of this six to eight-hour course may allow for reductions in auto insurance premiums in some states.

NSC Defensive Driving Course (DDC) - 4 Hours

A condensed version of the six to eight-hour DDC, many states use this course as a court referral when drivers are required to take defensive driving training.

These courses are designed for managers and supervisors whose employees operate company vehicles or drive personal vehicles on company business. Both courses use commentary driving techniques, which are found to be most effective when training drivers one-on-one.

Training is presented in three formats:

• Train-the-Trainer – Expert Driving Principles (two days) and Changing Driver Behavior (one day)
• Group Training – four hours
• Individual Training – two hours
