Property Loss Control Field Services

Bureau Veritas offers property loss prevention through on-site consultative services or audits. A Bureau Veritas consultant visits the subject facility to evaluate existing conditions. The site evaluation can be as general or as specific as required.

Field Services At-A-Glance

• Evaluation of existing protection systems at facilities. Includes physical protection installations (forexample, sprinkler systems and water supplies) and human element programs (such as emergency preparedness programs and self-inspections)
• Full description and evaluation of the process hazards, building construction and exterior exposures at the facility
• Testing of fire protection systems and water supplies
• Evaluation of the normal loss expectancy, probable maximum loss and/or the maximum foreseeable loss
• Overall assessment of plant quality, using agreed-upon criteria to evaluate and help ensure consistency from location to location
• For course of construction visits for greenfield projects or the purchase of an existing facility, we can assist in monitoring the project to help make sure it meets agreed-upon standards
• Written reports can also be tailored to fit your requirements
